NorthShift Jobs ("we", "us") operates northshiftjobs.ca. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

When you apply for a position we collect your name, email address, phone number, and nursing licence details you provide. When employers register, we collect their organization name and email. We also collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited).

How We Use Your Information

Applicant data is shared only with the employer who posted the listing you applied to. We use your email to send application confirmations and, if you opt in, job alert emails. Employer account data is used solely to operate the service.

Job Alert Emails

If you subscribe to job alerts, we store your email and preferences to send matching notifications. Every alert email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. We do not sell or share alert subscriber data with third parties.

Data Retention

Application data is retained for 12 months from submission, then deleted. Job alert subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Employer account data is retained for the life of the account plus 30 days after cancellation.

Cookies & Analytics

We use only essential session cookies required to operate the site. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, contact us at privacy@northshiftjobs.ca.
