Our Mission
Rural and northern healthcare facilities across Canada face a persistent nursing shortage. NorthShift Jobs exists to bridge that gap — making it easy for contract nurses to find meaningful work in underserved communities, and for healthcare employers to find qualified candidates quickly.
Why Rural Nursing Matters
Remote and northern communities often have no hospitals within hundreds of kilometres. Contract nurses fill critical gaps in emergency care, long-term care, and community health. Every filled position means better outcomes for patients who would otherwise go without care.
Who We Serve
We serve registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, and other allied health professionals seeking contract roles — as well as the health authorities, hospitals, and clinics in rural and remote Canada looking to staff them.
